The 2015 Red Shoe Ride was my first ever charity ride. I rode 60+ miles, hurt like I had never hurt before, and was certain I was done riding bikes.
But after the ride, I heard about all the families in my community who received help from the Ronald McDonald House, and all the soreness was worth it. I had been part of a positive impact.
This year, I’m back for my 5th Red Shoe Ride, and I’m again working to make a positive impact on my community.
