Would you run 50 miles for kids with cancer?
You don’t have to.
I will.
Very soon, I’m running my first 50-mile race… and every single mile will be for a child.
A child who has fought cancer.
A child who is still fighting.
A child we’ve lost far too soon.
Because here’s the truth…
I am one of the lucky ones.
My son—my cancer warrior—is about to turn 15.
We were told he likely wouldn’t survive.
And now he’s about to start high school.
Not every child gets that chance.
And that’s exactly why Cannonball Kids’ cancer exists:
So more kids survive…
And so survivorship doesn’t come at a cost.
Because right now, too many children who “beat” cancer are left with hearing loss, infertility, growth challenges, and secondary cancers.
We can do better.
And when we know better—we do better.
That’s what we’re fighting for.
So I’ll run 50 miles.
And I want to carry 50 names with me.
If you have a child—your child, someone you love—who has battled cancer, is battling, or went to heaven … send me their name and their story. I will write every name down and run each mile in their honor.
Let’s fill every mile with purpose.
If you feel called to be part of this fight—to help more kids survive and live fully—here’s the link to donate is in the comment.
Let’s do something that matters.
