Why I’m Running the Dopey Challenge for Cannonball Kids’ Cancer

This year, I’m taking on the Disney Dopey Challenge—a true bucket‑list race for me. It’s something I’ve dreamed about doing, and when I finally committed, I knew I wanted it to be about more than just crossing a finish line. I wanted it to matter.

That’s why I chose to run for Cannonball Kids’ Cancer Foundation. Their mission—to fund innovative, less‑toxic treatments for children fighting cancer—is something I care about deeply. If I’m going to push myself through 48.6 miles in four days, I want every step to support kids and families who are facing challenges far greater than any race.
