A runDisney journey honoring Mason Duncan-Book, and supporting childhood cancer research through CKc.

Hi! I'm Heather, and I'm raising money for Cannonball Kids cancer!

I'm proud to be running again with Team Cannonball Kids' Cancer Foundation to help raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer research! This year, I'm taking on the Half Marathon! Let's go!

For more than 10 years, I have volunteered and fundraised for CKc because I believe every child deserves the chance to grow up healthy, chase their dreams, and simply be a kid.

I'm running again this year in memory of Mason Duncan-Book, the son of one of my lifelong best friends. Mason bravely battled T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) and passed away in 2020 at the age of 11. His courage, strength, and spirit continue to inspire me every day.

This year, I'm adding a little extra fun to my fundraising efforts!

While every donation of any amount is deeply appreciated and helps support childhood cancer research, donors at the following levels will earn a spot on the back of my RunDisney race shirt and get to "run" the race right alongside me!

  • ? $50 Donation: Your name added to my race shirt.
  • ✨ $100 Donation: Your name plus a short message of encouragement, inspiration, or good-natured heckling.
  • ? $250 Donation: Your name, business name, and/or logo featured on my race shirt.
  • ? $500 Donation: The VIP Package! Your name plus a ridiculous photo of your choosing. It can be your face, your family, your dog, a favorite meme, or just about anything else that's family-friendly and unlikely to get me disqualified, sued, or featured on the evening news.

(I can't guarantee I'll run faster, but I can guarantee you'll make me smile every time I see your contribution on my shirt.)

But seriously... No mother should ever have to look her child in the eye and tell them they have cancer. No child should ever have to know that pain or that fear. Through research, advocacy, and fundraising, we can help create a future where fewer families face that heartbreaking reality.

"It's a big blue ball!" The 2026 race included a beautiful pre-dawn run through a fully lit up EPCOT center including all the countries and lands, and the beautiful resorts!
