I am in 1st grade at Veritas Christian Academy.                
This year, my teacher Mrs. Schoeffler has been teaching us all about God's amazing creation! We learned about biomes and the Artemis II mission to fly by the moon. We also learned the secrets of flight from how birds soar to how airplanes use air flow to stay in the sky!

My favorite part was when I dissected an owl pellet and used a bone chart to find out what it ate! We also collected and boiled maple sap in Mrs. Schoeffler's yard for a pancake lunch! We’ve also explored amazing stories like The Hobbit! I got to dress up as one of the Lake town people for Tolkien Reading Day!

I want to be a scientist when I grow up so I can take care of God's creation! Veritas is helping me reach that dream by teaching me how the world works. We are raising money for a new science lab so we can keep exploring and growing. Will you please consider helping our school with a gift?
