Hi! My name is Alexis and I'm in 7th grade. This is my 7th year here and I have loved every single year. I'm so thankful at my time at Veritas and next year will be my last which is kind of sad for me but Veritas has really made such an impact on me. Ever since 1st grade, when I joined, all my teachers have been so supportive and kind and loving to me. They are all good examples for me and I have grown close to them. They teach me not only math, and science, and ELA, but also how to live out my faith, how to be kind, how to live my life as a Christian.
I have known so many of my classmates since 1st grade and to me and they're like family. Veritas is my second home and I am truly blessed to go to this school. My community is something so unique and different from other school and it is amazing. I have a place where I can laugh, mess up, talk, grow, and share my thoughts and beliefs.
This year, our school is working to raise $75,000. This year's money is all going to the new makerspace lab and personally, that is so cool. This will help all the kids in our school learn and grow at a new level. I won't be able to go to the new property myself but I really hope to help raise money for my school.
I hope that you will donate so that more students will be able to join our school and to be able to have this same amazing experience that I am having. Our school doesn't have enough space for more students which is hard beacuse so many people want to come. I pray that you will donate because I really believe that what you give is so meaningful and will have such an impact.
It doesn't matter if you give $5 or $50, every bit helps. I'm so thankful for everyone who supports Veritas and I pray and know that God will use this money for good.
