On November 1, 2026, I'll have the incredible honor of running a marathon through the five boroughs of New York City.
Inspired to use my marathon bib for something greater than achieving a personal goal, I am running to raise critical funds for the incredible work of Golf Fights Cancer and the thousands of individuals and families who will be impacted by its mission this year. The fight against cancer carries even deeper meaning for me now: this year, my sister Laney underwent treatment following her 2025 cancer diagnosis. Not surprisingly, she kicked butt and is now in remission. My drive to raise money has never been higher, so that others don't have to go through what I watched my sister endure.
Every training mile and every step on race day will help turn determination into hope and direct support for those affected by cancer.
