Camp Hope is the first-ever pediatric pancreatitis summer camp for kids and teens, created by Rebecca’s Wish and The National Pancreas Foundation. I’m fundraising for Camp Hope because every child deserves the chance to simply be a kid—especially those of us living with chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic disease. For many of us, daily life includes pain, hospital visits, medications, and often feeling different or isolated from our friends.

For me, Camp Hope offers something truly special: a safe, medically supported summer camp where I can laugh, play, build friendships, and gain confidence—often for the first time surrounded by others who truly understand what living with pancreatitis is like. It’s a place where I can feel safe, seen, supported, and empowered—not defined by my diagnosis.
