A Storybook Journey for Inclusion
Our 29th Annual Once Upon a Run, Walk & Roll, presented by Wells Fargo, returns on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Shane’s Inspiration Playground in Griffith Park, Los Angeles.
This year, we invite you into a storybook journey—where every step, every roll, and every moment helps create a world where children of ALL abilities can play, connect, and belong. Funds raised will support Inclusion Matters by Shane’s Inspiration and our free community outreach and educational programs that bring inclusion to life through the power of PLAY.
In proud partnership with the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, this enchanting, family-friendly celebration will feature:
- 4K Run, Walk & Roll through Griffith Park
- An Interactive Exhibition Fair filled with hands-on fun and discovery
- Free Event T-Shirts (your storybook keepsake)
- A Raffle with exciting prizes
- Complimentary refreshments
- Goodie Bags for all participants
- Special Guests bringing stories to life
- Inclusive buddies to walk, roll, and play alongside every child
