About Ken
Sheriff Ken Mason has headed up the Kennebec County Sheriff's Office since 2016.
A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Ken has more than 40 years of experience in law enforcement, having served as served as a patrol officer with Augusta Police Department for nearly 20 years before going on to become Chief Deputy for the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office.
Born and raised in Augusta, Ken is a graduate of Hall-Dale High School. He lives in Readfield with his wife, Joanne.
