About Russ

Russ Murley is president and co-founder of National Weather Forecasting, Inc., where he oversees daily operations and provides point-specific forecasts and many other services to a wide range of companies all over North America. He has more than 35 years of experience in operational forecasting.

Russ earned his degree in meteorology from Lyndon State College and has also worked at television stations in Burlington, Vermont, Bangor, and Portland, Maine, along the way.

When he’s not following the weather, Russ is an avid skier, golfer and spends time playing drums in a local band.
