About Mike

Mike Perkins is a veteran of the United States Air Force who went on to work in law enforcement for more than 30 years.

Mike has served as Chair of the Oakland Town Council for the last 20 years, guiding the town through good times and tough times. He previously served three terms representing District 66 in the Maine House of Representatives.

Mike is also a small business owner, running four small businesses in his hometown of Oakland, including the KMD Driving School. A family man, Mike and his wife, Kelly, raised two children together and are now proud grandparents to four grandkids.
