In the face of the challenges of COVID-19 that have decimated live performing arts, The Williams Project is an example of perseverance and a model for what can lead us forward. The Williams Project has announced an exciting 2021 season of new works, collaborations, surreal comedy, and James Baldwin, all tailored to a gradual, safe reopening of theatre. 

The mission of The Williams Project has always been the way forward: 

• pay actors a living wage because of their intrinsic worth and invaluable contribution to our society; 
• foster connections by making art accessible to diverse communities and opening the theatre’s doors to all without consideration of wealth; and
• produce outstanding art that compels each person to put “himself aside to feel deeply for another person”.
