With a full and grateful heart, I want to thank you—truly—for walking alongside me with your love, prayers, and encouragement. This journey has been anything but a straight line—more like a winding, sometimes wild path full of lessons and grace.
Since my mission trip to India and Nepal last summer, life has been unfolding in beautiful, unexpected ways and every step has led me to a place that feels like home: Safe Places for Women. Here, I have had the gift of being a first shift coordinator, volunteer coordinator, case manager, and just stepped into outreach coordinator!
Safe Places for Women is a faith-based home in the heart of South Denver for survivors of human trafficking. We exist to be the answer to a silent cry for help by offering women who have been exploited through sex trafficking the safety, hope, and healing necessary to become whole. By providing a comprehensive continuum of care and resources, women move beyond trauma to achieve independent living, self-sufficiency, and a lifetime of freedom from oppression. The heart of SPFW is a commitment to goal-oriented, survivor-centered care, because every woman’s healing journey is as unique as her story!
