Why Walk

“Let us make the very best use of the precious moments and do all in our power for His dear sake and for His greater honor and glory.” –Saint Marianne Cope

Held annually, the Saint Marianne Cope Walk is one of St. Francis Healthcare System’s largest fundraisers benefiting the families we serve throughout Hawaii. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages to join us in raising funds for those who would otherwise be without hospice care, personal care services, care coordination, caregiver support, meals and transportation, preschool, and adult day care.

The Saint Marianne Cope Walk & Wellness Fair is one of St. Francis Healthcare System’s largest fundraisers benefiting the families we serve throughout Hawaii. This inspiring event invites participants of all ages and faiths to join us in raising funds.

When patients and their families are facing a serious illness, everything becomes much more challenging. Like Saint Marianne, St. Francis brings peace and comfort in their turmoil. This is what makes the care provided by St. Francis so different. When life’s challenges become overwhelming, St. Francis provides a breath of fresh air.

All proceeds will support our programs including hospice care, personal care services, care coordination, caregiver support, transportation, preschool, and adult day care. St. Francis often goes above and beyond to support families. When individual do not qualify for government assistance or their health insurance does not cover certain benefits, St. Francis is often able to fill those gaps because of the generosity of donors.
