Set against the backdrop of one of the nation's premier aviation museums, this unforgettable evening features elegant dining, immersive storytelling, exciting live and silent auctions, and an inspiring keynote from Dr. Cady Coleman—former NASA astronaut, Air Force colonel, scientist, and acclaimed author. Returning as emcee is MayCay Beeler, award-winning journalist and trusted Charlotte storyteller. A longtime friend and passionate advocate for the Museum, MayCay's enthusiasm for preserving aviation history and inspiring future generations makes her the perfect guide for the evening.
Over her distinguished 24-year NASA career, Dr. Coleman spent nearly 180 days in space across three missions, including a six-month expedition aboard the International Space Station as Lead Robotics and Lead Science Officer. Drawing from her acclaimed book, Sharing Space: An Astronaut's Guide to Mission, Wonder, and Making Change, she will share powerful insights on leadership, teamwork, innovation, and embracing change—reminding us that our greatest accomplishments are possible when we unite around a shared purpose.
