Animal Friends Alliance was founded in 2006 as Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic and Animal House Rescue and Grooming. In 2020, the two organizations merged to form Animal Friends Alliance. Just last year, in 2022, we completed construction on an expansion at our Taft Hill campus and moved our cat shelter across town.
I started as the Dog Behavior Coordinator at Animal Friends Alliance in February of 2022. I have absolutely loved working with this organization to help their dogs become great family companions. As of September 2023, I am now the Canine Behavior Veterinarian at Animal Friends Alliance. I will be continuing to help our shelter dogs, and am now providing consultations for both adopted dogs and publicly owned dogs where I can provide management and behavior modification techniques, prescribe behavior modifcation medications, and provide honest, compassionate feedback.
