Hi, I'm Nutmeg! I'm an Animal Friends Alliance alum and am honored to be one of the Housepets!

I was found as a stray in New Mexico and when no one came to claim me, I was transferred to Animal Friends Alliance through one of their transfer partners. My mom, Casey, was working as a dog animal care technician at the time, and it was love at first sight when I arrived at the Alliance!

While the amazing veterinary team got me spayed, microchipped, and all my vaccines, Casey jumped through hoops with her rental management to add another dog to the lease. Just a few days later, she adopted me and brought me home!

That was almost 4 years ago and since then, we have had a whole lot of fun together. We like to hike and camp, but dog sports are our favorite. We make a great agility team! At the Alliance, Casey has since moved into the Shelter Animal Care Manager position, which is pretty cool!
