Bio
Before I was a spoiled orange housecat with an aggressively consistent meal schedule, I was a stray off the streets of Greeley. When the shelter took me in, I wasn't exactly a hot commodity. Notches in my ears, a crooked tail, an infected leg wound from getting returned by my last adopters. You read that right; returned to the shelter. Twice, actually.
Then Avery showed up. I climbed into her tote bag before she'd had the time to say hi. She thought it was cute. I thought it was efficient.
She also found out pretty quickly that I came with baggage. I yell. Constantly. I knock things off counters like it's a part-time job. And for the first little while, I mostly sat by the window plotting my return to street life, unconvinced this whole "indoors" thing was for me.
Somehow none of that scared her off.
Avery just...gave me time. Let me figure out on my own that maybe a warm bed beats an alley.
Now I spend my afternoons sunbathing on a queen-sized mattress that is unambiguously mine, supervising every project she works on from about six inches too close, and making biscuits on whoever's dumb enough to sit still near me. I'm told I'm a Mama's boy. I don't disagree.
Turns out, we were each other's pawfect match.
