Please enjoy photos of my personal fur babies that were adopted from Animal Friends Alliance! (Callie -Tortie cat ; Bunny - White cat ; Juniper -Chocolate Labradoodle)
Callie's Story: Callie came to Animal Friends Alliance from another shelter in Texas with her 3 neonate kittens. Shelters in Texas are overcrowded and short on resources, so we take all we can to save them and give them another chance of finding a wonderful home. One of our wonderful fosters took them in and provided them love & care. All 3 of her kittens were adopted when they were old enough, Callie remained awaiting her home, little did she know I was on my way to her. Day one of my employment with Animal Friends Alliance, I met Callie and instantly fell in love. I put her on adoption hold and took her home the next day. She is my first ever cat! She now lives a spoiled life with Bunny & Juniper!
Bunny's Story: Bunny came to Animal Friends Alliance through our Community Cat Program. She was found in a large cat colony in Greeley, CO. When she arrived, she weighed 3.36lbs and had a bad eye injury. She was first thought to be young, given her size, but after a dental check she was aged to 4-5 years old. Our vets performed her eunculation and spay, she recovered beautifully. They believe that her size and eye injury were from fighting for resources in the colony, since none of the cats were spayed/neutered it continued to grow. She also sustained frost bite to her ears, battling to survive the winter. Without our wonderful organization, her and the other cats in that Greeley colony may not have survived as the colony kept growing, resources being fought over. She now lives a wonderful life with her friends Callie & Juniper!!!
Juniper's Story: Juniper came to Animal Friends Alliance from another shelter in New Mexico. Shelters in New Mexico are overcrowded and short on resources, so we take all we can to save them and give them another chance of finding a wonderful home. Juniper only lasted 2 days before meeting my partner, Eric. He fell in love with her and placed her on adoption hold, adopting her the next day. Juniper is actually how my partner and I met, I took her adoption photos and he saw them and had to meet her. His favorite was the one of her in a hot dog costume. Later, I saw that same photo on the dating app and we matched over sweet Juniper! Juniper now has a mom and dad spoiling her with so much love as well as 2 fur siblings, Callie & Bunny!
