Welcome to my personal page for The Saving Pets Challenge: Pawfect Match—where every dollar helps cats and dogs find their pawfect matches!
I’m fundraising for Animal Friends Alliance, a nonprofit that’s been saving lives and spreading love since 2006. What started as two separate rescues—Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic and Animal House Rescue and Grooming—paired up to become one in 2020. Now they’re an adoption-guarantee shelter and affordable spay/neuter clinic helping animals in Northern Colorado and beyond.
Since their humble beginnings, Animal Friends Alliance has found pawfect matches for over 50,000 dogs and cats, spayed and neutered more than 100,000 pets, and helped over 10,000 community cats live safely outdoors.
I’m helping them raise $217,000 during the Saving Pets Challenge, and I’d love your support. Whether it’s $5 or $500, your donation helps animals find homes, families, and second chances.

Meet Sugar!

About Me:
Hey friends! My name is Sugar and I’m a perfect grey tabby! While most cats like to be pet, I enjoy a nice, hard pat (especially on my butt). I am a bit of a shy girl, but when I do decide to show myself, everyone knows how special of an experience it is.
My mom drove all the way to Laramie, WY to adopt me back in 2021. Ever since then, I have been living my best life! In 2023, I moved in with my sister, Khaleesi, and things were rough at first. But now we absolutely love each other and we cuddle ALL DAY LONG. I especially enjoy when my sister gives me baths since a princess shouldn’t have to bathe herself! When I am not cuddling with my sister, I enjoy hunting my toys that I strategically hide throughout the house. I announce every one of my captures and my mom tells me what a good huntress I am.
Green Flags:
-Only have bottom canines so I make funny faces
-My meows are the cutest little chirps you will ever hear
-Eats out of a slow-feeder like the perfect princess I am

-Sometimes pats become too much and I like to bite
-No surface is safe from me
Looking for:
As an ex-shelter animal myself, I want to raise as much money as possible so that other shelter animals can have a life like I have! Every dollar you donate helps us be able to continue giving other animals the medical care they deserve! About Me:
Hey friends! My name is Khaleesi and I am a beautiful all white Domestic Shorthair. Just like my name indicates, I channel my inner dragon and will let you know when it is food time by screaming.
I am originally from the streets, but my amazing dad’s mom saved me and took me in temporarily until he could take me! Now I live in a home with my sister, Sugar, who I love very much. Sometimes I bully her but that is what an older sister is supposed to do! I spend a majority of my day sleeping and cuddling with my sister, but when my parents come home, I love nothing more than to tell them all about my dreams. They are always saying “No way, really?!?!” whenever I am regaling my latest dream so I know it is the highlight of their day.
Even though I found my perfect match in my sister, I want to be able to help other kitties and dogs find their perfect match!

-Will bite toes when I have not been fed exactly at my feeding time (sometimes beforehand too because duh, I deserve food)

-Will drag slow-feeder across the floor until I tip it over
