It's that time of year again - the Spina Bifida Association of Arizona's Annual Walk-N-Roll® for Spina Bifida!

This will be my family’s and Team Papaya’s third year participating in this event. As many of you know, my now 2 1/2 year old daughter, Meia (a/k/a "Meia-Papaya") was diagnosed with Spina Bifida when I was 19 weeks pregnant. This is a cause that is close to my heart and your donation will be greatly appreciated by not just my family, but this amazing community.

There are 3-5 babies each month in Maricopa County that are born with Spina Bifida. This birth condition has lifelong implications including a high number of critical surgeries and full-time wheelchair use. Most young families really benefit from the support offered through the gatherings and programs facilitated by SBAAZ.

Any amount that you can give will help me reach my personal fundraising goal of $150 and go toward our team goal of $500. After all, little by little a little bit becomes a lot! An added bonus for Arizona tax return filers: your donation is a TAX CREDIT for Qualified Charities!
