Cawood was born august 18, 2009 with Spina Bifida. Honestly, before he was born I knew very little about this birth defect. Now 7 years later, with several gray hairs, I am much more educated about this issue and it holds a very special place in my heart. Marty and I care so much about keeping Cawood healthy and making sure he has the most up to date health care possible. Donating to the spina bifida organization helps us with this! This organization promotes research and support for current and future families affected. They also have educational inservices for us to attend (with child care provided:) to learn more about how to raise a child with spina bifida, up to date medical info and treatments, and much much more!
So come out and join us on Saturday, October 1st at Iroquois park!
