I walk to support my neice, Abbie, who was diagnosed before birth in 2008.  We were warned that she probably wouldn't walk, could possible have multiple developmental delays, or may have a very low quality of life due to a long list of possible disabilities.  She's been fighting to prove doctors wrong for 8 years now and has succeeded at doing just that.  She's been through more surgeries, doctors appointments, and consultations in her 8 years than most of us can imagine, but her joy shines through it all.  Her most recent dream is to help children with disabilities when she grows up.  Join me in supporting her in her fight against Spina Bifida!
