Thousand Waves is not just a dojo, and not just a place for an after-school activity. The teachers, the staff, the TW community are a significant influence in helping to raise our kids to be strong, thoughtful, compassionate people. The karate is the conduit for that, AND it's really cool to watch them grow in this art.
Lillian is an advanced brown belt and is looking forward to the junior black belt test in her future! William and Josephine will both be testing for the rank of advanced green belt after Spirit Challenge week, so this will be a great way to get them psyched for that.
