I have been training at Thousand Waves for about three years now and I have truly had a great experience. From my first Karate class I felt I had found a community. Everyone is so warm and friendly. What is also really special about Thousand Waves is that while many people associate karate with violence, Thousand Waves strives for violence prevention. In addition to doing this through teaching karate itself, they also have self-defence warkshops and many free workshops that help prevent violence in many different ways. Everything Thousand Waves does is really wonderful and we thank you for your support.
