My Personal Fundraising Page

As you know, I train Karate at Thousand Waves Martial Arts and Self-Defense Center, NFP.  Thousand Waves is so much more than my karate school, and I’m writing to ask you to support our important mission-driven work.  Consider these programs:

  • Our Adapted Seido Karate program, a partnership with the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, enables children with disabilities to train karate for free.
  • Our Scholarship program ensures access to all Thousand Waves programs, from karate training to Violence Prevention workshops, regardless of ability to afford it.
  • Our outreach Violence Prevention work extends our reach far beyond our Center’s walls, impacting lives all over Chicago.

Spirit Challenge is our annual fundraiser, being held from June 22 - June 28.  Over the course of the week I will be doing a variety of athletic challenges to inspire you to open your wallets.  I hope you’ll consider donating at my personal fundraising page https://secure.qgiv.com/event/account/282642/
