Thank you all for your unwavering support of my karate training. As you know, this year was a big year for me karate-wise. I tested for my second degree belt and passed!  I remain grateful for all your support and postive thoughts, especially my sister Karla Wei who housed me during that time. Part of my responsibility as a training member of this school is to participate in fundraising activities (https://secure.qgiv.com/event/account/286746)  to support the mission driven work and scholarships that Thousand Waves provides. We make seido karate accessible to anyone. We have an adapted Seido karate program program that allows kids with disabilities to take a karate class with no charge. This effort relies on donated materials like uniforms and belts from the dojo and volunteer time from current karate students.
