On Sunday, March 1st, our family will once again partner with St. Patrick High School to help draw awareness and support of the Polar Plunge® Chicago for Special Olympics Illinois presented by Special Children's Charities, one of the city's most popular winter fundraising events! We are excited to take on the challenge and jump into Lake Michigan's chilly waters to support thousands of individuals with intellectual disabilities. With your support, people with intellectual disabilities, like Tommy, have the opportunity to discover new strengths, abilities, and accomplishments. This past year Tommy has been able to participate in many of the activities supported by Special Olympics.... from soccer to basketball to baseball to gymnastics. And he loves it!
