Why I Walk

I walk because every life is valuable and women and families facing an unexpected pregnancy deserve compassionate care, practical support, and the hope of the Gospel.

At Shenandoah County Pregnancy Center, women and men are met with care and without judgment. They receive support as they navigate pregnancy, parenting, relationships, and life’s challenges, all at no cost to them. And the Center is preparing to expand that care, with pregnancy testing and limited obstetric ultrasound beginning in Fall 2027.

The Walk for Life is more than a fundraiser. It is a joyful, family-friendly celebration of life and an opportunity for our community to stand together for mothers, fathers, and children.

I’m walking because I believe in this ministry. I believe in the women and families we serve. And I believe that when we come alongside them with compassionate care, practical support, and the hope of Christ, lives are changed.
