Back-To-School Supply Drive & Fundraiser

NAIC - Finance & Business Services

Support ScrapsKC and help your team rise to the top!

From July 21 through August 4, NAIC employees can donate online through their division team to support education, sustainability, and creative learning opportunities in our community. The winning team will be determined by per-capita giving, ensuring a fair competition regardless of team size. In honor of the top 3 winning teams, seven annual Teacher Resource Center memberships will be donated to support local educators.

Every dollar makes a difference. Register, donate, and help your team become this year's champion for a cause!

Here's how you can help:

  • Donate: You can purchase specific school supplies, leverageing ScrapsKC's tax exempt status, or donate financially toward the Teacher Resource Center's greatest need. Contribute whatever you can. No amount is too small!
  • Spread the Word: Share our fundraising page with your friends, family, and social networks. Let’s spread awareness so we can raise more!

Thank you so much for your support! We couldn’t do this without you!

We're raising money for the ScrapsKC Teacher Resource Center!

Without basic supplies like pencils and books, children living in poverty face greater barriers to learning than their classmates. Hosting a drive or contributing to one can ensure ScrapsKC is equipped to continue providing FREE supplies, helping break the generational poverty cycle. Your donations foster equity in education by providing the necessary tools for success!

In 2025, your generosity benefitted over 700 teachers who served no less than 25,000 students. Our trends in 2026 indicate that twice that many teachers are coming to ScrapsKC for help to serve over 49,000 students. Our standard week-to-week donation volumes fall far short of serving that need.

To meet that growth …

“The Teacher Resource Center has helped me to be so prepared. Many of my students come to school with no supplies. I can make sure that all my students have what they need to be successful without having to take from my own already-stretched budget.”  Teacher
