Strides 4 CMV is back—and the need has never been greater.

This annual 5k event raises critical awareness about congenital cytomegalovirus (cCMV)—a common, serious, and preventable virus that causes more birth defects than Down syndrome, spina bifida, or fetal alcohol syndrome. Yet nearly 91% of expecting parents have never even heard of it.

On Saturday, June 27th, gather your friends, family, or coworkers and meet us at Legacy Park in Verdae to walk, run, or roll a 5K (3.1 miles) to show our support! 

Every step helps fuel prevention, education, and research to stop CMV from causing pregnancy loss, childhood death, and lifelong disabilities.

Cost:

Children: 12 and under- free

Adults: $25 - but, feel free to donate whatever amount you feel you can!

Details: Let's meet under the cabana for light snacks, bubbles, and fun! Walking/running is totally optional - but we will all start together once majority of the crowd is ready! Can't wait to see everyone!
