Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the Making Strides for Special Kids 5K Run/Walk!

I am raising funds to support SEDOL Sibshops, a special program created for children ages 5 and up who have a brother or sister with an intellectual disability or Autism.

Sibshops give siblings the opportunity to spend time with other kids who understand what it is like to have a sibling with a disability. Through fun, supportive activities, siblings can connect, laugh, play, and simply enjoy being kids.

? At Sibshops, kids can:

  • Connect with other siblings who “get it”
  • Play games, participate in activities, and have fun
  • Share their experiences and feelings—if they want to
  • Build friendships and feel connected to a community of other siblings
  • Enjoy time that is just for them

Sibshops is not therapy. It is a fun, supportive, and welcoming space where siblings can connect with one another and celebrate the unique experience of being a sibling.

Your donation will help SEDOL continue providing meaningful Sibshop experiences and activities for siblings throughout the year. Every contribution, large or small, helps make these opportunities possible.
