What is Seen, Heard, Supported?

Seen, Heard, Supported is a fundraising campaign focused on equipping Christian communities to meet every survivor of abuse with informed, compassionate support. It is a "Friends-Asking-Friends" Fundraiser where we are asking you to partner with us. By collectively raising $120,000, you can help GRACE provide essential resources and services such as advocacy trainings, survivor toolkits, translations of crucial safeguarding materials, simulated case trainings, and an all-new safe policy tool.

Together, we can build a future where survivors feel seen, heard, and supported.

How will Seen, Heard, Supported practically make a difference?

GRACE is working to improve survivor care in faith communities by providing comprehensive support across five key areas of impact. We believe that by equipping leaders, training advocates, establishing safe policies, breaking down language barriers, and empowering survivors, we can create a foundation of healing from the ground up. Your support in these five areas helps create a responsive and caring environment for everyone.

Survivor Speaks | Watch Now!

Recorded on Nov. 6th, 2025.

What does it mean to feel seen, heard, and supported? Four courageous survivors and advocates—Wendy, David, Debbie, and Ray—share their lived experiences, offering vital wisdom on what genuine support looks like and how faith communities can move past harmful responses.

Keynote Address with Jenna Quinn | Watch Now!

"I know what it’s like to wear the shackles of shame and suffer in silence. But when you experience deliverance and freedom, you can’t help but want others to experience it too." - Jenna Quinn

This is why we do what we do at GRACE—because we believe every survivor deserves to experience freedom. And it takes people like you offering up regular support for us to continue in this work. If you are able, please consider donating to GRACE's Seen, Heard, Supported campaign today.

See how your support will make a practical difference

Survivor Toolkit & Care Calls

Healing from abuse is complex and often isolating, making immediate, compassionate guidance a lifeline in a crisis. This initiative will develop critical, survivor-centered support, including practical resources, lasting tools for safety and recovery, and dedicated one-on-one care calls. These resources ensure that survivors receive the wisdom and next-step guidance they need.

How Your Donation Helps: A gift of $150 could help cover direct support resources, including the cost of a 30-minute survivor care and guidance call for one survivor, ensuring a survivor receives immediate, compassionate support in a moment of crisis. Your generous contribution funds this ongoing direct survivor care, letting survivors know that their experience is validated and they are not alone.

C.A.R.E. Simulation Training

C.A.R.E. = Case Analysis, Response, and Evaluation

This simulation training will be a rigorous, four-day program designed for denominational or local ministry leaders to prepare for a cohesive, effective, and trauma-informed abuse response.

How Your Donation Helps: A generous gift of $3,000 would help us provide one full day of training for free to a cohort of national and denominational leaders.

In this training leaders practice making immediate, trauma-informed decisions, transforming fear into proficiency and compassion. By supporting this critical program, you are helping to ensure that when a survivor comes forward, they are met by well-prepared leaders equipped to act with skill and integrity.

Safeguarding Translations

Every child deserves protection. To truly reach and protect all members of Christ’s body, especially our Spanish-speaking communities, we must ensure vital resources are immediately accessible.

Para nosotros, no hay barreras idiomáticas cuando se trata de la seguridad de un niño (For us, there are no language barriers when it comes to a child's safety).

Translated safeguarding materials are essential to remove barriers that can prevent vulnerable individuals and families from receiving help. This initiative focuses on translating core resources—such as training slides, model policies, survivor resources, and child safety guides—into Spanish.

How Your Donation Helps: Your gift of $50 would provide us with the ability to offer a translated safeguarding resource packet for a Spanish-speaking church for free. Your support ensures that language never stands between a survivor and safety.

Policy Systems Development

Comprehensive, updated policies are the foundation of a safe environment, establishing clear standards for healthy conduct, reporting, and accountability. GRACE is developing policy systems to make large-scale policy review and development more accessible for all churches. These systems will provide detailed analysis and customized development, helping churches move toward best policy practices.

How Your Donation Helps: A gift of $500 helps cover the significant cost of developing new policy systems tools. This investment is critical for building a full policy toolkit that hundreds of churches will use to begin the "Safe Policies Initiative." Your support facilitates systemic impact, ensuring the creation of essential, lasting practices for prevention and response in faith communities nationwide.

Empowering Advocates

Advocacy is an integral role in a survivor's healing process, offering powerful and supportive tools on their pathway to recovery. This program trains compassionate leaders with specific skills like trauma-informed listening, non-judgmental support, and ethical boundaries. Trained advocates foster a community where survivors' disclosures are met with grace and competence.

How Your Donation Helps: Your gift of $250 could help sponsor an advocate to participate in GRACE's new Advocacy Training, equipping a compassionate leader to offer essential, survivor-centered support. This human investment helps promote safer, more responsive faith communities where survivors know they are valued and not alone.

Important Campaign Disclaimer

Please note that the individual gift levels described (e.g., "$50 safeguarding packet translated into Spanish," etc.) are presented as examples of the vital work your donation helps fund.

All contributions, regardless of the suggested gift level, will be combined into a singular, general fund. This allows our organization the flexibility to apply the money where the need is most urgent and impactful across our programs, ensuring the most effective use of your generosity.
