I'm stepping up to raise money for GRACE (Godly Response to Abuse in the Christian Environment) through the "Seen, Heard, Supported" fundraiser!

I've been in church all my life. I have also been a prosecutor for 40 years, much of that seeking justice for children and vulnerable adults victimized by those with more power. I have seen the Church get it right and be a source of protection and healing for survivors of abuse. I have seen the Church get it horribly wrong.

I believe that every single survivor deserves a place of faith that is truly safe, supportive, and equipped to handle the incredibly difficult journey of healing. I also believe that the more Christians are faithful to the calling of protecting the vulnerable, the more our faith grows. GRACE is committed to a Godly Response to Abuse - and supporting GRACE is a meaningful way to help the Church fullfil it's mission to love God and love our neighbor.

• $50 translates vital safeguarding resources into Spanish.

• $150 provides a direct care and guidance call for a survivor.

• $250 sponsors a compassionate advocate for specialized training.

• This campaign also supports new policy development resources, and critical new services designed to equip leaders to respond with wisdom, prioritizing the needs of survivors of absue.
