Miracle in a Meal Fundraiser

Many of our senior neighbors urgently need support and access to hot, nutritious meals to stay healthy. Your help keeps our Senior Nutrition Program thriving—and ensures no one is left hungry.

The cost of a meal is $5. This GivingTuesday, help us reach our goal of $80,000 to provide 16,000 miracle meals to more at-risk seniors throughout San Diego County!

GIVING DAY EVENT: VOLUNTEERISM & DONATION DRIVE

Tuesday, December 2, 2025

Join Serving Seniors in-person for our GivingTuesday Day of Volunteerism. A day of community, connection, and hands-on impact for San Diego’s older adults. Whether you’re dropping off essentials for our Holiday Donation Drive or signing up your team for a volunteer shift, your participation helps brighten the season for seniors in need.

GROUP & CORPORATE VOLUNTEER SHIFTS

We’re offering limited 2-hour volunteer opportunities throughout the day for companies, groups, and community organizations. Activities include:

  • Serving lunch

  • Hot chocolate mug decorating with seniors

  • Creating holiday gift bags

  • Sponsoring Bingo or Karaoke

  • Blanket-making & arts and crafts

  • …and more hands-on engagement opportunities!

Spots fill quickly — reserve a shift for your team.
