Hi, I'm Connor Rauscher. I am excited to share with you an opportunity I have as I work with an organization called Colorado to Ghana during my fall break this October. Douglas Country School district approves this organization to let students, parents and DCSD staff of the surrounding high schools travel to Ghana to help serve the people there. This will be Colorado to Ghana's 4th year travelling. The opportunity I have when I am there is to help build a sustainable farm and chicken coop in a community called Atekyedo, Ghana. The group learned last year how much the community was in need of more food to thrive. Creating the farm and chicken coop will enable better security of needed food for the families and children in the village. It will also give them an ongoing way to be self reliant. I am grateful to be a part of this legacy on this project.
In order to make this possible we need to raise $10,000 for this project. I set my goal for $5,000 because there are other group members also trying to raise money for the same project. Whatever you can donate is something closer to our goal. 100% of funds go to this project. Also please share this with others. It is the only way to keep the fundraiser ongoing.
