I am the recipient of a stem cell transplant. I was diagnosed with AML in February 2010. After months of chemo, I was told my only chance of survival was a stem cell transplant. On June 29th I received stem cells from an anonymous donor who I would later connect with and meet. I spent years recovering from the transplant. Today, I am blessed with the title Gramma. My journey has taught me to be brave, to be strong, to be patient, and to hold on to life. Never give up!
