It’s that time of year again!
Karyn and I are pleased to join the fight against blood cancer by participating in the Gift of Life Marrow Registry - Steps for Life 5k which will be held this year on Sunday, January 16th in Boca Raton, Florida.
Being a blood cancer survivor myself, I’m passionate about this organization because their work can actually cure leukemia, lymphoma, and 100 other diseases with stem cell and marrow transplants. Every person battling blood cancer deserves a second chance at life.
Many of you have been so generous in past years, and I am asking you to do the same or more this year. Gift of Life has saved so many lives by identifying donors and matching them up with people who are suffering from life ending bone and blood cancers. We want everyone who needs a match to find a match. Our mission is to raise money so that we can process swabbing kits and add additional donors into the registry. It only costs $60 to process a kit and add a potential donor into the registry, so today we are asking you, how many lives can you potentially save?
