Almost 16 years ago, I was in a class with a gentleman who had several children and developed a condition that required a bone marrow donation. Gift of Life came and registered almost 20,000 potential donors. Unfortunately none of us were a match for my friend. However, Gift of Life did find matches among the registrants to save other people in need.
Steps for Life is one way that Gift of Life funds its life-saving operation. A few dollars and a few miles for a good cause is the least any of us can do.
