Join our 2nd annual Heart & Sole Capuchin Walk-a-Thon!
It's on Saturday, June 14, at Archbishop Stepinac High School, White Plains, N.Y. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m, and the walk-a-thon is 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by awards!
It's an engaging, fun, active, and accessible opportunity to help alleviate poverty. Sponsored by the Province of St. Mary, friars and friends share in the common goal of raising crucial funds to assist those in need! Let's walk together to make a difference and create a brighter future for our brothers and sisters affected by poverty. Net proceeds will support Capuchin Family Ministries’ summer service experience in the Hudson Valley and Harlan, Ky.
How you can help!
Here's how. You decide on the details (and we can help!):
1. Register individually, as a team or as a sponsor. Registration is $25 (or $20 before 5/24) for individuals and includes a thank you T-shirt (while supplies last), snacks, fun, and games. Proceeds will support our summer programs and services to help in the fight against poverty.
2. Teams and individual registrants will receive a registration e-mail confirmation with a link to create a fundraiser. Click the Start a Fundraiser button to create a personal or team fundraiser. Select a name, upload a picture, set a goal and create a custom message.
3. Start spreading the word. Once you set up and verify your fundraiser, you will receive a custom link to share with your team and supporters and use to track your progress.
