Adoption is Essential at Saving Grace

Spring Events at Saving Grace did not go as planned but thanks to our supporters we have continued to place hundreds of dogs into forever homes and many more into loving foster homes while they prepare for adoption. We've worked hard to keep adoptions going, provide excellent care for our dogs at the Saving Grace farm and continue vital work to with our shelter partners to bring dogs into our program. Your help is essential to enable us to continue the rescue work we do week in and week out.

While our spring events are fun, they are also an important part of our fundraising each year. We would love to gather in person but this year has given us an opportunity to support the dogs with a virtual walk. You can walk from anywhere, share your pictures and love for the SG dogs. There will be fun activities along the way. You can sign up as an individual or as a team. You can choose to fundraise or just grab a great new t-shirt.

More about Saving Grace Animals for Adoption
Since 2004 Saving Grace has placed more than 22,000 dogs into loving forever homes. Saving Grace works with shelter partners across the state to help dogs in need. Dogs are not turned away due to medical needs, age, size, or breed.  Saving Grace works with a team of veterinarians and volunteers to provide heartworm treatment, needed surgeries, dental care, and spay/neuter before dogs are found their forever home.

Cost for spay/neuter and specialty medical care can is often more than $25,000.00 a month.
With spay/neuter costs ranging from $100-$125 per dog, standard immunizations (Bordetella, Heartworm test/prevention, rabies, parastie, microchip) ranging between $80-150 per dog and Heartworm treatment at $400 per dog, the costs each month for care can increase even higher.  This virtual walk and fundraiser will help with these expenses, food and daily operational costs.
