Hi, I’m Nick Elder, and I’m excited to be joining the Shoe Crew for my Second year in support of Ronald McDonald House Delaware and their annual Wine, Women and Shoes fundraiser!

This year, I’m lacing up my shoes with a goal of raising $1,000 to help families stay close to their children during some of life’s most challenging moments. Every dollar raised helps make a meaningful difference for families who need support when they need it most.

A Little About Me

By day, I work at CSC as a Data Research Specialist. By night (and many evenings!), you’ll find me in a dance studio. I've been dancing since I was 8 years old and transitioned into teaching after high school. Sharing my passion for dance and watching students grow is one of the most rewarding parts of my life.

I’m also a proud middle child with an older brother and younger sister. Growing up, my family taught me the importance of showing up for others and helping whenever someone was in need—a lesson that continues to guide me today.

When I’m not working or teaching dance, I stay involved in my community through volunteer work, including supporting organizations like Sean’s House, which provides accessible mental health resources and support.

Why I Joined the Shoe Crew

I joined the Shoe Crew because I believe in the power of community and compassion. The mission of Ronald McDonald House resonates deeply with me because it provides essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare. Since 1991, over 50,000 have found a community of comfort and support at the Ronald McDonald House in Delaware.

I'm honored to be part of a group that combines fun, philanthropy, and a great pair of shoes to make a real impact. Thank you for supporting me, the Shoe Crew, and the incredible families served by Ronald McDonald House Delaware!
