Hello, my name is Daniel Szymanski and this is my sixth year as a part of the Shoe Crew. I’m supporting Ronald McDonald House Delaware as a Shoe Guy at their annual “Wine, Women and Shoes” fundraiser. My fundraising goal is $1,000.
A Little About Me:
I was born and raised on Long Island, New York, and moved to Delaware 29 years ago. I made my career working for Loral Corporation and for Sunoco where I retired a few years back. For the last seven years, I have been a fitness instructor at the YMCA of Delaware, where I thoroughly enjoy helping people get back in shape.
I have been involved in my local community for many years including my church, the Sunday breakfast mission, but I have especially found my 20 years at the Ronald McDonald House Delaware the most rewarding.
Why I Became A Part Of The Shoe Crew:
I have been a consistent volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House for over 20 years in many different ways. I can only say that it has been an honor, a privilege and a blessing to be part of such a wonderful organization. I have gotten to know many of the families, the staff, and volunteers, all of which have enriched my life.
Ronald McDonald House Delaware provides essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare. Since 1991, over 50,000 have found a community of comfort and support at the Ronald McDonald House in Delaware.
