This cause means everything to our family. We are the proud parents of two incredibly brave CHD teens, Ellie (16) and Riley (14), who have both fought Truncus Arteriosus Type 1.5 since birth. Together, they have survived:

• 6 open-heart surgeries (starting at just 4 and 7 days old)
• 4 cardiac catheterizations
• Serious complications like endocarditis and a junctional heart rhythm

During our hardest moments in the hospital, Help-A-Heart was our lifeline—bringing us meals, giving gifts to the girls, and answering our questions as they grew.
