Branson recently celebrated his second birthday. He enjoys watching Sesame Street and Bluey. He is a bundle of joy, he absolutely loves wrestling with his dad and showering everyone with snuggles and kisses. This cause is personal and important to our family because Branson was born with several congenital heart defects. While he is a much happier and healthier boy today, the journey to get here has been long and challenging.

Branson manages his heart condition through a combination of daily medication and surgical interventions. Heart disease impacts him far beyond his heart, affecting his physical and cognitive development as well. Due to past frequent and long-term hospitalizations, he has faced significant struggles with mobility and speech, resulting in some developmental delays. 

Despite these hurdles, he is growing, learning, and defying the odds every single day with the support of his wonderful care team and the best doctor out there, Jesus. We are incredibly grateful to God for constantly blessing our sweet boy and guiding us through this journey.

We want to show support for families like ours who are affected by CHD and for great associations like Heart Hero’s Inc! 

Heart Hero’s has supported our family many times during our hospital stays. Branson even received the cutest cape through one of their many programs.
