I’ll be sleeping outside on Friday, June 4th to support women experiencing homelessness as part of Beacon's 8th Annual Solidarity Sleep Out!

The Sleep Out raises critical funds for Beacon's overnight shelter, Friend's Place.

Friend's Place is:

• Monroe County's only emergency shelter for women,
• a provider of more than 14,000 nights of shelter for over 200 people every year,
• a housing-focused shelter, giving people the tools they need to get back home as quickly as possible.
• an LGBTQ+ affirming shelter - honoring all sexual orientations and gender identities,
• a shelter with no tests or pressure to affirm any particular faith tradition.
