This carefully restored elegant building has been recognized by the National Register of Historic Places and was called an architectural gem by the New York Times and the Smithsonian. The Smith annually opens its doors to dozens of live performances by renown musical artists and orchestras, plays, dance, theater, children’s art, current movies, and debates.
