A poem from Ms. Jaime, the director of Palmyra-Macedon Conservatory of Dance:
Hey Friends! We really love dance!
I dance all day - never miss a chance!
So, I made it my job, and opened a school,
There's lots of students - it's pretty cool!
Every year we have a show!
One time I didn't know where to go...
Where could we put on an epic recital?
For my studio, this is vital!
No joke, a fairy appeared out of the blue!
She was like, "Hey Jaime, I really like you!
Of course I love your style & your hair-do."
She shouted, "THE SMITH! bippity boppity boo!"
Before I could even say, "Thank you"
The fairy left without further ado
"The Smith Opera House" could this be true?
I checked it out in a day or two
The Smith Opera House is a beautiful place
With a gorgeous stage, and a perfect space
It seats lots of people, there's room for all
So you can bring Grandma, and Uncle Paul
The staff is helpful, attentive and kind
The Smith is elegant, historic, refined.
We have our recitals there every June
Hundreds of dancers performing a tune
Year after year, memories made
Tutus, smiles and stories conveyed
How fortunate we are to have this place to go
To gather, to perform, and enjoy the show
The Smith needs our help! They got bills to pay!
Please give them money, and then we'll ballet! #slay
#FillTheSmith helps keep them afloat

Thank you so much!
