As you may know, April is Sexual Assault Awareness month. On Wednesday, April 29, 2020, millions of people across the world will wear jeans with a purpose, support survivors, and educate themselves and others about all forms of sexual violence as part of #DenimDay. The current global crisis is impacting victims of abuse in many ways. Victims of abuse have urgent needs and NEED YOUR HELP!
Join us this year in celebrating #DenimDay by donating to our COVID-19 Emergency Fund. On Wednesday, April 29th we have a goal of raising $5,000 during a 24hr social media-a-thon. Here's how YOU can help us reach our goal!:
1. Create or join a fundraising team - promote it on all our social channels for Denim Day - April 29th. Click on the button to the right that says "Create or Join a Fundraising Team' to get started!;
2. Like and invite others to like our Social Media-A-Thon Denim Day event;
3. Donate to our COVID-19 Emergency Fund. Click on the 'Donate Now' button to the right to get started!;
4. Create a Facebook fundraiser for Sojourner House on Wednesday, April 29th
5. Take a picture of yourself wearing jeans on #DenimDay and post the picture to social media with the hashtag #ImWithSojo.
